During a family trip to India last year, she visited a rural village near Hyderbad and was deeply moved by the lack of access to quality education for children in the area. In this digitally oriented world, Aanya believes that programming is a vital skill that can open doors to countless opportunities. Through Code Hope Global, Aanya hopes to promote digital literacy among girls in underprivileged communities, empowering them with the tools necessary to thrive in their futures.

Meenu is a senior living in Washington. When she's not bawling over a book or creating her 126th Pinterest board, you can find her working on machine learning projects or engaging in friendly debates with her family. Growing up with parents from villages in India and many relatives still residing there, Meenu saw the gaps in knowledge and resources that hold back rural girls from pursuing STEM careers. This inspired her to start Code Hope Global, with the aim of offering better educational opportunities and closing the digital divide for rural youth.

Aside from empowering rural youth through CHG, she also loves binge-watching TV shows, studying the stock market, reading fantasy books, and doing STEM outreach with her robotics team! Sambhavi's roots go back to her grandparents' village in India: Khushalp

Upon visiting her village this summer, Sambhavi noticed the knowledge disparities that hinder rural girls from entering the STEM field. Through her work in Code Hope Global, Sambhavi intends to enhance their quality of STEM education.
